Description
RTV 21 is a two-part silicone encapsulant that cures at room temperature by condensation once base and curing agent are mixed, developing properties in depth without heat. It is used to pot and encapsulate electrical and electronic hardware where the cured silicone must provide electrical insulation, vibration damping and protection against moisture ingress. It sits between RTV 11 and RTV 41 in the general-purpose encapsulant family and carries an FDA reference in the manufacturer's data.
