Description
3M K25 Glass Bubbles are hollow glass microspheres used as a lightweight filler. They are mixed into resins, putties, potting compounds and syntactic materials to reduce density and improve sanding and handling. Composite and repair shops use them. Check the data sheet for density and crush strength, and avoid high-shear mixing that can break the bubbles.

Frequently asked
Why add glass bubbles to resin?
They lower the density of the mix and make cured fillers lighter and easier to sand.
Can glass bubbles be damaged during mixing?
Yes. High shear or pressure can crush them. Mix gently and check the crush strength on the data sheet.
