Can the paint be applied without its hardener or activator?
No. In a two-component system the hardener or activator starts the chemical cure; without it the film will not cure or reach its intended properties.
Do two-component polyurethanes need special safety precautions?
Yes. Their curing components usually contain isocyanates, which can cause respiratory sensitisation. Spray them only with suitable respiratory protection and ventilation, as the safety data sheet sets out.
