A matte-black abrasion-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer tape backed with a high-shear ('HS') acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It resists puncture, tearing, abrasion, UV and rain/sand erosion and is used for leading-edge erosion protection of helicopter rotor blades with minimal effect on blade track and balance.
