A 14 mil transparent thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer tape providing leading-edge erosion protection with resistance to punctures, tearing, abrasion and ultraviolet light, using an acrylic adhesive. 8671HS is the companion high-shear-adhesive variant covered in the same 3M technical data sheet. Used on aircraft/helicopter leading edges and other high-wear surfaces.
