Description
A wraparound firesleeve made of silicone-impregnated, asbestos-free fiberglass cloth that provides thermal and fire protection for aircraft hose assemblies. Because it wraps on rather than being an integral hose covering, worn firesleeve can be replaced in the field at operator level without scrapping the whole hose assembly. It has been fire-tested together with Eaton Aeroquip hose assemblies.
