Description
Aeroquip hose assemblies fitted with an integral braided polyester chafe guard that protects the hose where it routes against structure or other lines, extending service life in high-vibration installations. The guard is applied over Aeroquip PTFE hose (e.g. 666/667 medium-pressure PTFE) and AQP synthetic-rubber hose such as the AE501, and Eaton reports it outperforms synthetic-rubber and extruded-silicone sleeves in abrasion testing.
