Description

DeSoto CN20 from PPG Aerospace is a blended cleaning solvent made to the UK Ministry of Defence specification Def Stan 80-67. The blend lifts a broad range of surface contaminants, and its balanced evaporation rate gives enough time to wipe dirt away without a long wait for the surface to dry.

The manufacturer describes it for cleaning paint equipment and for degreasing and cleaning metals and composites before painting. PPG data sheets for products such as Desoprime 7530 and Desothane CA8300 name CN20 as a recommended surface-preparation and spray-equipment cleaner.
