Description
Sur-Prep AR-58 is a clear, colourless solvent blend that penetrates and quickly softens adhesives so they can be wiped or scraped away. Zip-Chem says it evaporates completely, leaves no residue that would interfere with later bonding, and does not stay embedded in paper or porous surfaces. It has a flash point of 75°F (24°C).
The manufacturer describes it for removing adhesives from metal, porous and paper substrates, and for contact cleaning and general degreasing. Test on small areas first for compatibility with plastics. Offered as an aerosol and as towelettes.
