Description
Nomex 410 is the original form of Nomex paper, a family of electrical insulation sheets with high inherent dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility and resilience. It is made in thicknesses from 0.05 mm to 0.76 mm (2 to 30 mil). At 0.13 mm the typical AC rapid-rise dielectric strength is 28 kV/mm, and temperatures up to 200°C have little or no effect on its properties.
The manufacturer describes it for almost every electrical sheet insulation application, including dry-type and liquid-immersed transformers, motor insulation and generator insulation.
