Description
HM-604 is a Level 3, Method A water-washable fluorescent penetrant from Sherwin's Dubl-Chek line. A green liquid with yellow/green fluorescence, it uses a biodegradable surfactant base, is low in sulfur and halogens, and gives low background for clear indications. Low viscosity keeps drag-out low, and its water tolerance is 24%.
The manufacturer describes it as a general-purpose penetrant for castings, extrusions and similar parts on a variety of materials, including aluminium and magnesium, used with Dubl-Chek developers such as D-90G, D-100 and D-110A.
