Description
D-5015NS is the light-duty version of Zip-Chem's D-5026NS. It leaves a soft, ultra-thin film with less build-up, displaces water from electrical and electronic components, and helps prevent fretting corrosion on plated connector surfaces. It is chromate-free and also suits overnight protection of critical tooling. One aerosol covers about 120 ft² (11.1 m²).
The manufacturer describes it for electrical connectors, avionic and electronic components, tooling and highly critical metal surfaces. It is removed with D-5640NS, ZC-640, Sur-Prep 3160 or Sur-Prep 3167. Bulk form is ZC-015.
