Description
D-5640NS is a clear, colourless precision cleaner in Zip-Chem's Sur-Prep range, offered as an alternative to CFCs, chlorocarbons, alkalis and petroleum solvents for metal cleaning. It is chlorine-free, non-alkaline, biodegradable and low in toxicity, and removes oils, greases, waxes, cosmoline, silicone oils, mould release agents and adhesives.
The manufacturer describes it for CIC removal, pre-cleaning before painting, general equipment degreasing, hand-wipe and pressure-cleaner use and parts washers, applied by spray or wipe and wiped or blown dry. Bulk form is ZC-640.
