Description
Zip-Strip 125M is a fast-acting, neutral pH remover for wet, waxy and dry-film corrosion inhibiting compounds (CICs) that rinses off with water. Zip-Chem says it also removes MoS2 grease, hydraulic fluid, wax and carbon deposits. It is applied at 2 to 7 mils (51-178 microns), left to dwell for 30 minutes, then pressure sprayed or rinsed off.
The manufacturer describes it for removing CICs from exterior aircraft surfaces, including access panel fasteners, applied by aerosol, airless or air-assist spray, dipping or brushing. It should not be allowed to dry on the surface.
