Description

Hardener HY 953 F is the hardener component of the Huntsman Araldite AY 105-1 / HY 953 F system. Mixed with AY 105-1 resin it forms a free-flowing, room-temperature curing epoxy adhesive with about 90 minutes of usable life, which can be mixed 1:1 by volume. The mixed adhesive has a specific gravity of about 1.08.

The manufacturer describes the system for bonding metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers and rigid plastics, applied by spatula, and lists it against the Westland Helicopters WHPS 418 specification.
