Description

Epocast 1636 A/B is a Huntsman two-part epoxy syntactic with high strength and good high-temperature resistance. The aluminium-filled, medium-viscosity compound is easy to handle and machines easily once cured. Huntsman lists a density of 1.72 g/cm³, a viscosity of 29,000 cP at 25°C, and a self-extinguishing rating.

The manufacturer describes it for reinforcing honeycomb structures and lists it as qualified to BMS 5-28 Type 6. Huntsman suggests it as the alternative to discontinued Epocast 1616, 1618 and 1620 A/B.
