Description
Aero-Lube D-5920NS is a translucent silicone-based grease that forms a barrier between rubber and metal. Zip-Chem says it prevents ice build-up that makes door seals stick to the structure beneath, stops deterioration and squeaking, and keeps moisture out of the joint between seal and metal. The stated operating range is -70°F to 400°F (-57°C to 204°C).
The manufacturer describes it for rubber seals on passenger and cargo doors and radome seals. It can be removed with Sur-Prep 5680, 5677, 3167, 5673 or 123. Bulk form is ZC-920.
