Description
AeroShell Grease 64, formerly sold as AeroShell Grease 33MS, is AeroShell Grease 33 fortified with 5% molybdenum disulphide. Shell says it keeps the anti-wear and anti-corrosion behaviour of Grease 33 while the solid lubricant adds extreme pressure (EP) performance. Base is a synthetic hydrocarbon/ester oil with a lithium complex thickener; useful range is -73°C to +121°C, colour dark grey.
The manufacturer describes it for the small number of highly loaded, sliding airframe applications where molybdenum disulphide is still required alongside a general purpose grease.
