Description
D-100 is a non-aqueous developer of refined white particles suspended in isopropyl alcohol, classified Form d and e under AMS 2644. Solvent and capillary action pull flaw-entrapped penetrant to the surface against a white background. The manufacturer notes a thin, uniform, absorbent coating and good suspension properties, with low sulfur and low halogen content.
The manufacturer describes it for use with all fluorescent and visible dye penetrants, on smooth, rough, machined or coated surfaces, applied by aerosol or spray gun in two or three light coats.
