Description
D-106 is a non-aqueous developer of refined white particles suspended in acetone and isopropyl alcohol, classified Form d and e under AMS 2644. Solvent and capillary action draw flaw-entrapped penetrant to the surface against a white background. The manufacturer highlights very rapid evaporation and a thin, uniform, absorbent coating.
The manufacturer describes it for use with all fluorescent and visible dye penetrants, on smooth, rough, machined or coated surfaces, applied by aerosol or spray gun in light coats.
