Description
HM-406 is a medium-sensitivity (Level 2) water-washable fluorescent penetrant, classified Type 1, Method A. It meets low sulfur and low halogen requirements, and the green liquid fluoresces yellow-green under UV-A light. Sherwin cites near-zero background, sharp indications and low drag-out from its low viscosity. Flash point is 210°F (98°C).
