Description
RC-65 is a high-sensitivity (Level 3) fluorescent penetrant for post-emulsifiable processing, removed with a lipophilic (Method B) or hydrophilic (Method D) emulsifier. It meets low sulfur and low halogen requirements, fluoresces yellow-green, and gives low background with sharp indications. Flash point is 215°F (101.6°C).
The manufacturer describes it for castings, extrusions and similar parts, including aluminium and magnesium, and lists critical turbine engine components such as turbine blades among its uses.
