Description
Jet Glo Express 840 Series is Sherwin-Williams' high-solids, four-component polyester urethane topcoat, in factory-packed and Y/Z intermix colours. Mixed with CM0840081 hardener, an activator and a reducer, it contains less than 3.5 lbs/gal (420 g/L) VOC, resists Skydrol and other hydraulic fluids, and gives 60-degree gloss of 90+ units.
The manufacturer describes it for exterior use on high-performance general aviation and commercial aircraft, applied over an approved Sherwin-Williams aerospace primer system such as Chrome Hazard Free Epoxy Primer CM0481968.
