Description
CM0481968 is a low-VOC, two-component, corrosion-inhibitive epoxy primer and surfacer from Sherwin-Williams that contains no chromate. It is mixed 4:1:1 with CM0120828 epoxy adduct and a reducer, has a 4-hour pot life at 77°F, and changes gloss and colour as it is sanded, so no separate sanding guide coat is needed.
The manufacturer describes it for business jet and general aviation aircraft under Sherwin-Williams topcoat systems, either as a thin corrosion primer or as a high-build surfacer up to 5.0 mils dry.
