Spread n' Spray Spot Primer CM0480922 is a light gray, high-build filler primer that can be applied with a spreader or by spray gun. Mixed four parts base to one part CM0120722 adduct, it is free of lead, chromate and isocyanates, air dries in 2-3 hours and sands well with 220, 240 or 340 grit paper.
The manufacturer describes it for spot repairs: spreading fills rivets and seams without masking and spraying, while the sprayable mix with CM0110722 reducer covers larger areas.

Yes. For spreading, mix four parts CM0480922 with one part CM0120722 adduct. For spraying, add one to two parts CM0110722 reducer and apply two or three smooth wet coats with conventional or HVLP equipment.
How long before Spread n' Spray can be sanded?
Sherwin-Williams gives an unaccelerated air dry of 2-3 hours at 70°F and 50% RH, or 20-30 minutes force dry at 140°F. After sanding, topcoat within 7 days or solvent clean and re-scuff.
