Description
Bonderite M-CR 1132 AERO, known as Alodine 1132 Touch-N-Prep, is a felt-tip pen holding a yellow chromate conversion coating solution that dries in place without rinsing. Henkel designed it to save labour, material and time in touch-up work and to cut worker contact with chromating solutions and rinse-water waste. A new pen tip charges in 15 to 30 seconds.
The manufacturer describes it for touch-up conversion coating of clean aluminium and aluminium alloys, applied per MIL-DTL-81706 Class 1A and Class 3, Form VI, Method D, with a second coat at 90 degrees to the first.
