Description
PR205 HS is a two-pack epoxy primer from PPG Aerospace pigmented with strontium chromate for long-term corrosion inhibition. It is high in solids and low in VOC, and PPG notes it inhibits microbial growth in aircraft fuel tanks. The base mixes 3:1 by volume with ACT205 activator and is used without added solvent.
The manufacturer describes it for internal and external protection of aircraft, under topcoats to BS2X34A+B, Def Stan 80-161, Def Stan 80-225 or SP-J-513-C-0083.
