Description
Nycote 7-11 is a one-part nylon-epoxy liquid coating that dries to a flexible, pinhole-free film. Nycote rates it for resistance to aircraft fuels, lubricants, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, salt spray and water, and gives a cured film range of -70°F to +400°F. It is supplied clear or custom-tinted and can be brushed, sprayed or dipped.
The manufacturer describes it for aircraft and aerospace components on metals, plastics and composites, covering corrosion protection, electrical insulation and friction reduction, and lists it against OEM process specifications such as BAC5153 and BSS7010.
