Description
Desoprime 7065 is a high-solids, chromate-free polyurethane primer from PPG Aerospace. PPG lists corrosion inhibition, fast drying and good chemical resistance. It mixes 5:2:1 by volume with 7065B activator and 7065C reducer, has a 2-hour pot life and is applied in one cross coat to 20-30 µm dry film, light grey in colour.
The manufacturer describes it for use over Desoprime CFWP 7530 pre-treatment primer. PPG lists it as compatible with topcoats to BAMS 565-009 and MEP 10-069.
