Description
RTV 133 is a one-part condensation-cure silicone adhesive that vulcanises at room temperature on exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a flexible elastomeric bond. It is specified for bonding, sealing and gasketing in electrical and electronic assemblies where the flammability behaviour of the cured material matters as much as its adhesion. The grade is referenced against UL 94 V-0 as a flame-resistant adhesive.

Can RTV 133 be used in deep or fully enclosed joints?
It is not the best choice there. As a one-part moisture-cure adhesive it cures from the exposed surface inward, so joints that are sealed off from ambient humidity will cure slowly or remain uncured in the centre. For thick, confined sections a two-part condensation system is the more appropriate route.
