Description
PR-1764 M Class B is an electrically conductive, corrosion-inhibiting sealant from PPG Aerospace, formulated without chromates or aromatics. Unlike standard PR-1764, the M version is a manganese dioxide cured liquid polysulfide. It mixes to a low-sag paste, cures at room temperature without shrinkage and is rated from -42°C to 130°C.
The manufacturer describes it for keeping electrical continuity in aircraft applications while protecting aluminium alloys and dissimilar-metal joints from corrosion. PPG states it resists prolonged jet fuel and aviation gas exposure, and recommends PR-148 AF adhesion promoter.
