Description
RTV567 is a low-outgassing two-part condensation-cure silicone paste available in translucent and white, curing at room temperature to a firm rubber with good tear resistance for a paste grade. It is used for non-sag sealing, staking and bonding on vacuum-exposed and low-temperature hardware where a flowable material would run off the joint. Referenced against ASTM E595, with catalyst options available for adjusting cure rate.

Translucent or white — which should I order?
Translucent is normally chosen where the joint or bond line needs to be inspected through the cured material, or where underlying markings must remain visible. White gives visual contrast against dark substrates for coverage inspection and is the usual choice on thermal or optical hardware where a reflective surface is preferred.
How does RTV567 compare with RTV577LV?
Both are low-outgassing paste grades for low-temperature service. RTV567 cures harder, has meaningfully higher tear strength and offers catalyst options; RTV577LV is a softer white paste supplied with a fixed catalyst. Choose RTV567 where the seal will be handled, stressed or peeled, and RTV577LV where a more compliant seal is acceptable.
