Description
RTV577LV is the low-outgassing grade of the white RTV577 paste family, curing at room temperature to a soft elastomer for hardware where condensable volatiles would contaminate nearby surfaces. It is used for non-sag sealing, staking and gap filling on low-temperature-rated vacuum and instrument assemblies, and develops higher tensile strength than the standard RTV577 while keeping the same soft feel. Referenced against ASTM E595 and supplied with a single specified catalyst.
