Frequently asked
Can an acetoxy-cure silicone be used on electronics or sensitive metals?
Acetoxy-cure silicones release acetic acid as they cure, which can corrode copper, brass and some electronic components. A non-corrosive grade is chosen for those uses.
What is MIL-A-46106B?
A US military specification for one-component silicone RTV adhesive-sealants. Check the data sheet for the type the product is listed against.
