Description
Primer SP350 is a chromate-free, high-solids, three-component epoxy primer from AkzoNobel used for corrosion protection of aircraft metallic parts. Base, SP350 Hardener and SP350 Plus Thinner mix 8:1:0–1 by volume. The data sheet lists good adhesion and chemical resistance, especially on aluminium alloys, VOC of 285 g/L and a beige colour.
The manufacturer describes it for aluminium alloys with conversion coatings or anodized treatments, and as the primer for its XS420 high-solids polyurethane topcoat.
