Description
Silcoset 153 is a solvent-free, one-component RTV silicone adhesive sealant from CHT. It cures at room temperature with atmospheric moisture, releasing a small amount of acetic acid, and bonds to many substrates without primer. The translucent paste is tack-free in about 4 minutes and cures to a Shore A 39 rubber with 280% elongation.
Distributor data describes it as a general adhesive sealant with solvent and chemical resistance. CHT does not recommend it for copper and its alloys or in electronic assemblies.
